In my oil on canvas paintings, I have the unique opportunity to share the expression of my thoughts and feelings about the transformative aspect of visual art. I have always believed that my paintings support positive change and can have healing power. Rather than having a negative impact, my disability offers me the unique ability to distill emotion, expression and the essence of hope onto my canvases. I see my work as an expression of rising hope for humanity, hope for the future and hope for positive change.

Susan Miiller received an M.F.A. in 1992 and has been faculty at SUNY since 1999. Miiller is included in the National Association of Professional Women and Who’s Who in America. Miiller is the recipient of several awards, and her artwork is included in many important public and private collections.
