Matching Gifts

Many companies support their employees’ philanthropy through a matching gift program. You or your spouse may be employed by a corporation with a matching gift program.

For instance, the General Electric (GE) Foundation will match gifts made by GE employees, their spouses and retirees to the Sunnyview Hospital Foundation. The GE Foundation will match dollar-for-dollar, gifts of cash or stock of $25 or more (up to $25,000 per donor per calendar year). Send your gift to the Sunnyview Hospital Foundation marked “GE Gift Match,” and call the GE Fund Matching Center at 1-800-305-0669. Provide your social security number, Sunnyview Hospital’s zip code (12308), and the date and amount of your gift. You may also log onto www.gefoundation.com and click on Giving Program and then Matching Gifts for rules as well as to make the match online.
